Claude Samard invites you to discover World Guitars. All these instruments are presented to the audience throughout musical stops on every continents where the instruments have elvoved and improved. From the prehistoric musical arc to electric guitar, oud, banjos, ukulele... 14 instruments on show and played live. This show, both fun and educational is very convivial and reaches a large and diversified audience. "A short history of guitar" written by Claude Samard is also available at the end of the show.
Claude Samard, graduated from the Berklee University (USA) is an eclectic musician. He worked with different artists, including Alan Stivell, Lulendo, J.J. Goldman, Manu Dibango, Sansévérino, Roger Hodgson (Supertramp), Chet Atkins & M. Dadi, Rita Marley... He composed music for UbiSoft (Rayman) and won the “Best music” award at the Shanghai Film Festival (2001). He also worked as musical director for Jean-Michel Jarre show (Peking 2004) and is Okna Tsahan Zam producer/arranger (Throat Singing). But whatever his current projects may be, his “World Guitars” always keep a very special place. |
